Michigan Gaming Control Board presents cease-and-desist to Curaçao gambling operator

The operator of MyBookie.ag, Duranbah Limited NV, located in Curaçao, has received a cease-and-desist letter from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. According to the regulator, the website violated the Michigan Penal Code, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Lawful Internet Gaming Act by providing online casino games without a Michigan gambling license.

After receiving the letter, Duranbah Limited has 14 days to stop providing gambling services to residents of Michigan. If the business does not comply, the Michigan Gaming Control Board stated that it will cooperate with the Michigan Attorney General's Office to pursue legal action.
