According to the Ontario Lotto and Gambling Holdings inc., a guy claimed $100,000 in the Oct. 15 Lotto event.
Palmer Maniacco, age 59, won the prize by correctly matching the final six of the (7) Encore numbers.
According to a press release again from OLG, Maniacco stated, "I examined my ticket and used the OLG app on my smartphone and didn't think it was legitimate, so I presented it to the office to confirm."
He informed a friend, who shared his disbelief.
