According to the American Gaming Association's (AGA) first World Cup wagering survey, 20.5 million American adults (or 8%) intend to wager a total of $1.8 billion on the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

To them it is not huge. Casino or slots are not meant for those struggling to make money. They gamble with the mentality of "if you have to win, win massively and if you have to lose, lose tremendously".

It's not actually a huge money to them, if you consider how much people are also winning from casino you will know that the money is not actually huge for wagering

And somebody say soccer is not popular in US. I would like see some compare with other sports like baseball, NBA or hockey. I guess in those sports numbers are much bigger. I just wonder how much.
