71% of British citizens claim that government messages on health won't address problem gambling

Furthermore, 47% of respondents think that prohibiting well-known promotions like free bets would not help combat problem gambling. Anti-gambling organizations have suggested that two strategies for addressing problem gambling are the banning of such promotions and the inclusion of health warnings.
According to the survey, which YouGov performed for the BGC, 3% of the populace believes that requiring health warnings on betting goods would be "extremely successful," while 8% believe that limiting free bets would be "very helpful at avoiding problem gambling."
