A father from Scotland has won the £1 million lottery jackpot.

Celtic fan Peter McGhee, 57, and eight neighbors won £100,000 each in the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Originally from Wishaw, he plans to buy Irish bagpipes and travel, mentioning past trips to New York and Florida. Living far from Celtic, he won't get a season ticket but wants to revive his music passion.

Recently Wokingham, where he now resides was voted among the UK happiest places by Rightmove.

Congratulations to Peter McGhee and his neighbors on their fantastic win in the People's Postcode Lottery! It's wonderful to see a group of people being rewarded for their participation.

It's interesting to hear that Peter plans to use his winnings to buy Irish bagpipes and indulge in some travel. The bagpipes are an iconic instrument and it's great that Peter wants to revive his passion for music. Traveling is always an exciting way to broaden one's horizons, and it's fantastic that Peter has had the opportunity to visit places like New York and Florida in the past. I'm sure he'll have some amazing adventures with his lottery winnings.

It's worth noting that Peter now resides in Wokingham, which was voted as one of the UK's happiest places by Rightmove. This adds another layer of positivity to his recent win and shows that he is surrounded by a supportive and vibrant community. While living far from Celtic means he won't be able to get a season ticket, I'm sure Peter will find other ways to support and engage with his favorite team.

Overall, it's heartwarming to hear about Peter's plans and the joy that winning the lottery has brought to him and his neighbors. May they all continue to enjoy their newfound fortune and make the most of their exciting experiences ahead.
