A Kent businessman has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of illegal slot machine operation.

A businessperson from Kent was accused of managing unlawful betting activities in Florida. The person, who reportedly controlled an illicit gaming machine enterprise, has now entered a plea of not guilty to the accusations. The defendant, Timothy Surgen, is a 57-year-old individual who, according to numerous allegations, utilized his company, Surgen Enterprises, to operate gaming machines. His supposed infractions have been detailed in over a hundred charges, asserting that he provided slots at the establishments known as Games N More, and Treasure Island Arcade. It is worth mentioning that Florida’s regulations prohibit gaming machines that dispense monetary rewards. Alongside owning gaming machines and engaging in illegal betting activities, Surgen is also confronted with charges related to money laundering.
