A man detained during an armed robbery of a Dublin bookmaker is appearing in court.

A man in his 40s was arrested after an armed robbery at a Dublin bookmaker. Armed with a knife, he threatened staff at the Swords betting shop, taking cash and mobile phones.

No injuries were reported. Currently held for questioning, he faces charges related to this incident and two prior robberies.
