In Blackburn and Darwen, Spark, a support service for drugs and alcohol, will now assist people dealing with gambling addiction.
Funded by the local council, they are introducing a new Gambling Related Harms support worker. Starting March, this help will last for a year.
Spark will screen and treat existing and new clients for gambling addiction. They will also guide the public and refer them to other agencies if needed.
