New legislation from state representative Ken Luttrell would make sports betting legal in Oklahoma if it were to pass.
Luttrell attempted to offer a similar bill during the previous legislative session, but it did not receive enough support. At the time, Luttrell said he was pleased that Oklahoman politicians were talking about the possibility of legal sports gambling there. According to KOCO News, Luttrell announced on Thursday that he had written another bill that he felt confident would be acceptable to both parties of the sports gambling controversy.
