After losing 2-1 to Kilmarnock, managed by former manager Derek McInnes, in their final game of 2022, and being held at home in a 0-0 draw by Ross County at Pittodrie, Jim Goodwin made three changes to the Aberdeen lineup.
After receiving a red card against St. Mirren, club captain Anthony Stewart was suspended for the trip to Ayrshire, but he returned to the Dons defense at Jack McKenzie's expense. Ryan Duncan and Connor Barron, two young midfielders, were substituted.
Leighton Clarkson joined Ylber Ramadani in midfield and is now completely fit. Christian Ramirez also joined Duk and Bojan Miovski in the Aberdeen attack, making his first start since July.

Betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
