Accel Entertainment seals agreement with FanDuel

The business is "eager to refresh and revitalise an iconic racing and gaming asset" following the completion of its Fairmount Holdings acquisition.
Last July, it was announced that the US$35 million deal would buy the Illinois site, which includes FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack in Collinsville.

In addition to a racetrack with 55 race days per year, Accel Entertainment has the chance to create an approved casino project.

The move also involves the master sports betting license that is being used in a revenue-sharing arrangement with FanDuel, a brand owned by Flutter Entertainment.
