According to rumors, Ippei Mizuhara is charged with using $4.5 million of Shohei Ohtani's funds for gambling.

Baseball star Shohei Ohtani's longtime interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, is accused of taking $4.5 million from Ohtani's bank account and sending it to a gambling bookie.

Mizuhara was fired by the Los Angeles Dodgers. There's confusion because Mizuhara first said Ohtani knew about the gambling debt and transferred the money, but then he retracted that statement.

Gambling has done far more harm than good, imagine betraying someone's trust like that all because of gambling. As an interpreter he would have known very private details about Ohtani's life and career, so the breach of trust is awful. To take such a huge amount of money and risk it all on gambling is just plain irresponsible too.

Gambling is definitely a harmful activity and it is more important to know whether the person who has taken the amount for gambling purposes has actually used it in total and whether he has won any amount on it or has lost it all together after that proper action should be taken against the person indeed
