Title: Adjusting your play using the BJA strategy chart

Question: Should I just keep to the strategy chart blindly or also consider other factors like my mood, bankroll etc? I think a balance of both is needed. While the chart gives a good starting point based on count and true card odds, real play has other variables which the chart can't account for. On some days I might feel more risk taking and on others more conservative despite what the count says. So I'd adjust the chart more loosely on some days and stick to it more strictly on others based on how I feel and how much I have to lose. What do you guys think?

Special consideration must be given to soft hands, which contain Aces that can be either counted as 1 or 11. Depending on the combination of your cards and the dealer's up-card, the BJA strategy chart will advise you whether to hit, stand, or double down. It is crucial to adhere to the chart's advice in these circumstances.
