Advertising Standards Authority reiterates advertisement guidelines ahead of Euro 2024

In advance of the forthcoming Euro 2024 tournament, the Advertising Standards Authority has cautioned operators against targeting minors with advertising.
June 14th marks the start of Euro 2024, a time when sports betting is expected to soar in Germany. Operators have been reminded by the Advertising Standards Authority of what can and cannot be included in their advertising prior to the event.

The authorities issued a warning that no player thought to have a strong appeal to people under the age of 18 could be featured in advertisements.
 
This Is definitely a good news and good development because the authorities are working in a proper manner and they are making sure that they are able to make the industry know that there are their limits and how they should actually be using the advertising services so that the young people and the people who should not be targeted with such advertisement should be extracted from the ads that will be run by the advertising of the gambling companies and this is actually pretty much significant and responsible work from the authorities as well by doing their work properly indeed for the protection of the people
