Advertising Standards Authority rules against misleading casino game advertisements

Because of their deceptive content, five advertisers for social casino games have had their ads banned by the UK's Advertising Standards Authority.

The paid advertisements on TikTok that gave the false impression that users could win actual cash or tangible prizes alarmed the Advertising Standards Authority.

The Advertising Standards Authority made it clear that real money or prizes cannot be won or withdrawn from social casino games, which mimic well-known casino games like slot machines.
