Stake.com and the African Warriors Fighting Championship have agreed to become sponsors.Although Stake already supports the UFC and Nigerian UFC Champion Israel Adesanya, the collaboration represents the company's first sponsorship agreement in Africa. The African Warriors Fighting Championship, which was established in 2019, aims to increase interest in and knowledge of Dambe, a traditional form of Nigerian boxing. Stake branding will be included into AWFC events as part of the agreement through prominent logo placements on athletes, official uniforms, and the fight arena. Additionally, the collaboration will give Stake exposure on AWFC's digital channels, where Stake branding will be included into Dambe material on those channels.
