Karin Schnarr has been named the next chief executive officer and Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), starting as of the 18th of September. Schnarr formerly held the position of Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Wilfrid Lazaridis College of Business & Economics. She also had a comparable post at the same institution as an assistant professor of policy, where she was in charge of instructing and doing research for courses on strategic management. Schnarr served as the head of the MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs at Wilfrid Laurier University while also serving on the board of executives and senate of the institution.
