Aged mobster debunks reports he punched restauranteur for gambling debt

It was initially reported that an elderly alleged mobster was shaking down a Manhattan restaurateur for a gambling debt, but the man refrained from punching the man.

Rather, his attorney claims that the restauranteur was insulted by the other party, which is why the supposed capo from Genoa and octogenarian struck him. The victim was the proprietor of Manhattan's now-closed Lincoln Square Steak restaurant.

It is alleged by the prosecution that they were employed by a bookmaker in Queens to retrieve a gambling debt of $86K that two of the restaurant owner's relatives owed. The defendant is seen on camera shoving the owner of the steakhouse in the face.
