Ahead of Euro 2024, the ASA restates its ad restrictions and issues a warning against targeting children.

The Advertising Standards Authority cautions operators against targeting minors with ads for Euro 2024 betting.

The ASA emphasizes guidelines from the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, requiring no one under 25 in ads, except on betting websites.

Ads must avoid featuring players appealing to under 18s and misleadingly suggesting player endorsements. Stereotypes, and context are also addressed.
 
This is good to say that the authorities are doing there action and their work properly they are trying to make sure that they are able to protect the young people and individuals who are in the process of making their careers should be able to do so properly and they should not become gambling adept with the easy availability and targetting of ads available at them
