Ahron Ulis, a former Iowa guard, gets charged in a college gambling investigation.

Ahron Ulis, a former guard for Iowa, declared before this season that he would be moving to Nebraska for the 2023–24 season. His eligibility could now be in doubt going into the season. A few months ago, it was revealed that athletes from the University of Iowa and Iowa State University were being looked into for participating in sports betting. Seven current and previous athletes at the two institutions have been charged, it has now been discovered. Ulis is one of those players who is accused of tampering with records. Using his elder brother's details, Ulis reportedly made 1,850 sports bets, including more than 740 before turning 21.
