Alabama attorney general shuts down 5 illegal gambling sites

The attorney general of Alabama closed five gambling establishments in Selma, claiming they were breaking the law "with complete disregard."

Five facilities were ordered to stop operating and handling financial transactions until further orders were obtained by his office, which then went on to enforce the temporary restraining orders.

As part of the ongoing criminal investigation, the Attorney General also carried out search warrants at each location.
