Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario suspends horse trainer for 18 months

A standardbred trainer who violated the Rules of Standardbred Racing was fined US$1,750 and suspended for 18 months by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

According to the ruling, the suspect worked with the suspended trainer to get around the latter's ban from the sport.

In July 2023, she had already been fined $9,750 and suspended for three years for the suspicious death of a racehorse.
