The US-facing division of Camelot will be acquired by the Czech lottery operator.
US.- The Czech lottery operator Allwyn has agreed to buy Camelot Lottery Solutions in addition to its previous agreement to purchase Camelot UK. This US-facing division, like Camelot UK, is a part of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board.
In December, Allwyn made public its agreement to acquire Camelot UK. Although it was previously speculated that it could pay up to £100m, it has not confirmed the figure. The deal made it possible for Allwyn to bypass Camelot's legal challenge against the Gambling Commission's choice to grant the Czech company the next UK National Lottery license.
