Allwyn prepares bid for Irish Lottery amidst intense competition

Unavoidably, Camelot has been decreasing its involvement in the lottery industry. Having relinquished the concession to Allwyn, It is no longer in charge of running the UK National Lottery. Allwyn has confirmed that it is prepared to compete for the rights after it recently revealed that it is leaving Ireland as well. The Ontario Teachers' Pension Fund A which owns Camelot, recently made the decision to shut down Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), which has the bulk of the Irish lottery's control. Allwyn, the biggest and expanding lottery operator in Europe, lost no time in attempting to find the funding required to submit a bid.
