Ameristar Casino Resort announces expansion of convention center

The Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in eastern Missouri's St. Charles, near the Illinois border, has announced plans to expand its convention and meeting facilities.

The Ameristar St. Charles, which is owned and operated by Boyd Gaming of Las Vegas, will expand its event space by approximately 43,000 square feet, according to company officials. When finished, the riverboat resort's convention space will measure 65,000 square feet.

I think Ameristar Casino Resort in Black Hawk, Colorado has announced plans to expand its convention center. The $6.5 million project will add 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a new ballroom and pre-function area. The expansion will bring the total event space at the resort to over 20,000 square feet.
