An asylum seeker who used a stolen bank card at a casino in Portsmouth has been imprisoned.

The court was informed about how Osman gained profit from a stolen bank card obtained during a burglary on November 2nd. Several belongings were taken, including a wallet containing the debit card. In the morning, when the victim contacted his bank to cancel the card after discovering the burglary, he was informed that transactions had already been conducted overnight at Admiral Casino on Commercial Road. CCTV footage captured three men approaching a machine to purchase tickets for a betting machine - with Osman being later recognized as one of them. It is important to note that at the time of the offense, Osman was subject to post-supervision conditions following his release from prison.
