An ex-financial advisor is sentenced to prison for using stolen funds to gamble.

A 42-year-old ex-financial consultant from Perth, Australia, was handed a five-year prison term for unlawfully appropriating funds from his clients to fuel his online gambling habit. Mark Raymond Sebo, who was apprehended in November 2022, pleaded innocent to 36 counts of misappropriation from a minimum of eight clients. It was reported on Friday that Sebo received the prison sentence.
