A football player from Italy has received a seven-month suspension for violating betting regulations. As noted by BBC Sport, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced that Nicolo Fagioli, a midfielder for Juventus, had violated the rules regarding placing bets on football matches organized by UEFA, FIFA, and FIGC. It is claimed that the 22-year-old player utilized various aliases for his betting profiles. Consequently, he has been banned for a total of 12 months, with five months of the suspension being deferred, and has also been fined €12,500 (£10,850).
