Anna Johnson has been appointed as the new CEO of Svenska Spel.

Grant Thornton Swedish leader, Anna Johnson, has been appointed as the new CEO of Svenska Spel, the state-owned gambling operator.

Johnson who has been with Grant Thornton since 1998, will take over from current CEO Patrik Hofbauer by June 2024.

Hofbauer departure was announced in October, and until Johnson arrival Erik Strand will serve as interim CEO.
