Apple set to implement specific category for gambling apps

Apple has disclosed planned modifications to the App Store's age classifications in France and Australia. The modifications are made in compliance with regional laws and are intended to improve user safety, especially for young users.

Developers won't need to take any action in order for these new regional ratings to appear alongside Apple's global age ratings.

An app that contains "Infrequent or mild simulated gambling" will be categorized as 12+ according to the current App Store age ratings, while an app that contains gambling or "Frequent or intense simulated gambling" will be categorized as 17+.

This is good , in my opinion such settings should be made default for every country so that we are able to protect the minors from the harmful effects of gambling which can be indeed very troublesome actually indeed being honest
