Are casinos required to disclose if a machine has random reel modifiers?

I've played slot machines for years now but I keep wondering whether casinos are obligated to reveal if their slot machines have random reel modifiers that affect payout percentages. I think casinos should be transparent about this kind of information so players know exactly what they are getting into. Many players might not realize these modifiers exist and could impact their gambling decisions if aware. What do you think? Should slot machine randomness and features be more openly disclosed?

This is because the inner workings of the machine, including the programming and mechanics, are considered proprietary information. However, some jurisdictions may have regulations in place that require casinos to disclose certain information about the machines they operate.
