Arizona gambling regulator warns public against gaming scam calls

The state's tribes, citizens, and tourists are all being shielded from gaming-related fraud by the actions of the Arizona Department of Gaming.

In a public service announcement, the Arizona Department of Gaming alerts listeners to the increase in gaming scam calls occurring in Arizona and neighboring markets. As con artists throughout the state pose as representatives of the oversight body in an attempt to defraud customers of their personal data and money, the Arizona Department of Gaming has issued a warning. Additionally, the Arizona Department of Gaming has discovered evidence of con artists posing as members of the Publisher's Clearing House, the Indian Gaming Association, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
