A bill pertaining to gambling regulations was approved on Monday in second reading by the Armenian National Assembly's Committee on Economic Affairs.
A 5% tax will be applied to any winnings over $12,870, which will be deemed large prizes.
Regarding standard prizes, the victor will have to figure out how much they wagered in relation to their winnings; this amount will then be subject to 10% tax.
