Arsenal on track to smash 'Invincibles' record as Mikel Arteta continues Premier League title run

Arsenal continued their imperious charge towards the Premier League title on Saturday as they began the final stint of the season after the international break. The Gunners hosted Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium, hopeful of adding yet another win to their tally.

It took 35 minutes for Mikel Arteta's side to open the scoring as Gabriel Jesus found the back of the net on his first start since November, having made his return from a serious knee injury. Ben White doubled the tally shortly after half-time before the Brazilian scored a brace to take full control of the game.

Rasmus Kristensen pulled one back for the visitors, but a late strike from Granit Xhaka restored the three-goal cushion and ensured the home side took all three points. It keeps Arsenal eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, having played a game extra over rivals Manchester city.
