The same thing is applicable to me . All I see is you the celebrities in the sporting arena. Those are the kind of people that are used as a brand ambassador for all the casinos which I think is not really right because they should also involve the players too.

I agree with you I have been seeing okocha the popular retired footballer being the ambassador for betnaija in Nigeria and even other popular stars. I think the sport betting have been adopting this style of marketing to lure players to the market.

I think you got it wrong. Okocha is the brand ambassador of BetKing while Victor ikpeba is the brand ambassador of bet9ja and so on and so forth. So many players have been made brand ambassador of bookmakers.

Personally i have not seen a proficient gambler be rewarded for their efforts by being used as part of a marketing campaign. I have seen high profile personalities and influencers being used to promote casinos
