Atlantic City casino stabbing leads to plea from former MMA fighter

The victim of a deadly knife attack at Atlantic City's Ocean Casino Resort was a former mixed martial arts fighter who entered a plea of guilty.

A first-degree aggravated manslaughter charge was accepted by the offender.


According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, he may receive a sentence of 25 years in prison.


For first-degree murder and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, the perpetrator was taken into custody three days after the murder. In order to face prosecution for the murder, he was extradited to New Jersey.
