Atlantic City casinos welcome responsible gambling task force

The governor's initiative to create New Jersey's first-ever Responsible Gaming Task Force has received support from the state's nine casinos located in Atlantic City.

An all-time high of $5.77 billion was made in gaming revenue in New Jersey last year. The total amount of state taxes in 2023 was over $595.5 million. The American Gaming Association calculates that the state gaming sector supports approximately 52,000 jobs and has an annual economic impact of close to $12 billion.
