Atlantic City police charge woman at casino after finding heroin

An alleged drug dealer was detained on Friday after she was spotted at Atlantic City's Ocean Casino Resort with 68 bags of suspected heroin, a loaded gun, and ammunition. A security guard at the casino noticed the suspect holding a gun in front of the casino entrance at around nine o'clock on Friday, September 15. This is when the incident started. She stepped outside and went into a waiting taxi at the valet station. Authorities stopped the driver as it was ready to leave.
 
It's really concerning to hear about illegal drugs and firearms being brought into casinos. Casinos are meant to be safe entertainment venues, so strict security protocols are necessary.
 
It is truly disheartening to receive news of the accusations levied against a lady who was found in possession of heroin at a casino situated in Atlantic City. Instances involving drugs can result in grave repercussions and affect not just the individuals implicated, but also the entire community at large.

Gambling goes hand in hand with drugs. The two are psychological related. In fact, one study showed that about 70 percent of gamblers are into drugs. The case of the woman is one of too many incidents where gamblers are caught trading and dealing with drugs.
