Serbian operator Balkan Bet has moved to offer esports betting by signing a partnership agreement with specialist supplier Oddin.gg.
The deal will see Balkan Bet utilise Oddin’s advanced iFrame solution, which includes odds feeds, risk management and UI/UX, to power a comprehensive range of esports markets, such as popular League of Legends, CS:GO, Dota 2, and Valorant events.
Mirza Capra, Head of Sportsbook at Balkan Bet, said working with Oddin.gg would “elevate our platform” and that he was thrilled to be able to “provide our customers with an unmatched esports betting experience”.
He added: “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering top-notch services to our clients and solidifying our position as the leading player in the competitive Balkan market.”
Marek Suchar, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Oddin.gg, said he was “excited and honoured” to be working with Balkan Bet.
“We are sure this collaboration will expand their esports presence, bring more engagement and attract new bettors in their target markets,” Suchar enthused.
The deal is the latest in a succession of contract wins for the esports supplier in the Balkans region, following the announcement of partnerships with MaxBet and MerkurXTIP.
Oddin.gg has been busy further afield as well, having signed agreements to supply its technology and content to international crypto casino and sportsbook Stake.com, Kazakhstan-based operator Olimpbet and major African betting company SportPesa since the start of the year.
The activity is part of a strategy to establish its business in territories where esports betting is still to break through into the mass market, as Oddin.gg CEO recently told SBC News:-
“It’s a long-term investment, and we see that globally there are not many bookmakers with an esports strategy and esports branding, and we are happy to help with this,” said Venclik. “In the US there is a huge opportunity for bookmakers to push esports and be the number one in US esports betting.”
