'Baseless allegations' against the gambling industry taint the joy of the World Cup

The Betting and Gaming Commission (BGC) has urged MPs to apply "common sense" in light of the FIFA World Cup as well as the upcoming release of the White Paper on the Gambling Law review.
With the World Cup being one of the greatest events for the wagering business, the review of England's gambling laws, which will result in the biggest revisions since 2005, is now reaching the two-year mark.
 
This is the reasons some countries usually go against betting during any occasion and I've even heard that Qatar is against any form of betting and gambling during this period of FIFA world cup ongoing in the country. Some people playing betting are not always of good behaviour and this tarnishing the image of the gambling industry
