Beginning in April, Pagcor will lower the GGR remittance rate for operators.

The Philippine gambling regulator, PAGCOR, is lowering the amount of money betting operators have to give from their earnings, hoping to attract more legal operators and boost revenues.

This move aims to align with global standards and foster growth in the country's gaming industry.

PAGCOR also plans to privatize some casinos to focus more on regulatory duties while maintaining responsible gaming practices.
