Belgian Commission survey reveals the public opinion on betting sites

A fresh poll of 1,000 people between the ages of 18 and 30 has been conducted by the European Gaming and Betting Association for the Belgian Gaming Commission.

The poll asked participants to list the names of 10 legal and 10 illegal gambling websites. The results revealed that 93% of respondents knew the names of at least one legal website and 44% knew the names of at least one illegal website.

The names of legal gaming sites are more well-known than those of illicit gaming sites, as evidenced by the fact that six of the ten most well-known gambling sites were legal and four were not, but the percentages between the two were not significantly different.

The outcomes coincide with the introduction of advertising limitations by the Belgian government for organizations who have gambling licenses.
