Belgian group calls for gambling minimum age to be increased to 21

Raising the legal gambling age in Belgium to 21 is what the Belgian expertise center for alcohol, illicit drugs, psychoactive medications, gambling, and gaming has recommended.

This organization collaborates with the government and serves as a supergroup for more than 70 drug and addiction organizations. In a memo released this week, the organization is urging an increase in the minimum gambling age.

The document outlines nine of their policy priorities for alcohol, psychoactive medication, video games, and illegal drugs in addition to gambling.
