Belgium implements new rules banning all under 21s from gambling

Belgium has enacted new regulations that set a uniform minimum age of 21 for gambling across the board.

In order to match land-based casinos, where players must be 21 since 2018, the age restrictions for sports betting, arcades, and bingo have now been increased. Overriding multiple gambling laws that date back several decades in Belgium, the changes were agreed upon in February 2024 and validated by royal decree last month.
