Belgium is set to move forward with an additional strengthening of its betting regulations, as the Federal Council of Ministers gave the green light to the implementation of 'compulsory authentication inspections on gaming devices.' The necessity for retail, hospitality, and entertainment establishments to confirm the age and identification of individuals using betting devices is a component of the most recent adjustment to 'revamp Belgium's Betting Law' as stated by Minister of Justice, Vincent Van Quickenborne. On Friday, the endorsement was granted, and the introduction of new electronic identification inspections will be obligatory for all betting slot machines, enforced in all venues in the main regions of Brussels, Wallonia, and Flanders.
