Belgium's gambling data regulations pass the GDPR test.

Belgium is making significant strides in the process of updating its Gambling Law. It has been announced that the newly implemented regulations for customer data will comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The modifications being made to the Gambling Law are under the supervision of Vincent Quickenborne. The primary goal is to provide comprehensive protection to Belgian consumers by mitigating the risks associated with gambling. The Council of Ministers has given its approval to these changes. Van Quickenborne has proposed technical reforms to enhance the management of player data in the EPIS.
