Bermuda Gambling Commission executives still receiving salaries despite clear absence of casinos

According to the compensation data the Bermuda Gambling Commission has released, some executives may make up to $225,000 annually. Since the organization is eight years old and there are no casinos in the area, many people ask why the government spends millions of dollars annually on it. It seems like little movement has been made in opening a casino. The rest of the world is not informed if the government is working on something. Since it was established, the commission has received grants totaling $3.76 million from the Bermudan government.
