With the deputy CEO highlighting the value of sponsorship and a localised strategy, Betano appears to be among the leaders when the legal market opens in Brazil on January 1, 2025. Operators like Betano have been vying for position in order to take advantage of being among the first to enter what is expected to be a top-three global gambling industry, since legal online betting in Brazil is less than two weeks away. Betano was the first to seek for a licence in May, and because of its sponsorship-heavy approach, the company benefited from early brand awareness advantages.
