BetLion links up with 888

A significant step toward the group's goal on the continent has been taken with the acquisition of BetLion, a multinational African online bookmaker, by 888Africa, a joint venture of 888Holdings.

With its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, BetLion has licenses in both its original market and Zambia since 2019. Most recently, it has extended its global reach by obtaining a license in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
