Protocol Zone, a specialized developer of wagering software, has sold its intellectual property to BetMakers MTS, a division of BetMakers Technology Group.
Digital tote technology, API data feeds, proprietary trading and ratings models, and other tools are among the intellectual property that BetMakers purchased from Protocol Zone. These will all be incorporated into the new software that the company plans to release later this year.
In addition to offering a new tote wagering platform to BetMakers' international advance deposit and tote wagering customers, the software is anticipated to reduce BetMakers' cloud and infrastructure expenses associated with its advance deposit wagering platforms in the US and other jurisdictions.
